I enjoyed one of the best restaurant-cooked meals I have had since being diagnosed with Celiac at Ma Maison Restaurant and Bar. The chef adapted their meal to create a gluten and dairy free Market Fish of the Day with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. It was bursting with flavor, everything perfectly matched, and the fish itself was superb. I sat in front of the fireplace and was served a dairy free raspberry sorbet with peach champagne sauce for dessert. A+
If you do get the chance to visit Akaroa, be sure to catch a boardwalk sunset and swim with wild Hector's dolphins.
